Sikh Youth Front expresses deep grief over demise of Bapu Tarlok Singh

Amritsar: Sikh Youth Front has expressed deep grief over demise of Bapu Tarlok Singh (father of Shaheed Bhai Satwant Singh). In a written statement SYF General Secretary S. Papalpreet Singh ssaid that the intrepid stand of Bapu Tarlok Singh in favor of punishing Indra Gandhi will always remain fresh in Sikh Psyche. SYF leader maintained that the Sikh nation owes so much to Bapu Tarlok Singh’s sacrifice which couldn’t be repaid.

It is notable that Bapu Tarlok Singh passed away on May 08 at Escorts Fortis Hospital in Amritsar where he was under medical treatment for past few weeks. His body is likely to be cremated on May 12 at his village Agwan near Gurdaspur. Sikh Youth Front has appealed to Sikh masses to reach village Agwan on May 12 to pay homage to Bapu Tarlok Singh.
