Indian Supreme Court’s Directive Goes up in Smoke on Diwali Night

As the media reports revealed today, there was massive violation of Indian Supreme Court's directive imposing curb on firing the crackers on Diwali night. The SCI had imposed a curb of 2 hours for firing the crackers on the night of Diwali (Nov. 7) but the limit was not even observed by Delhi where the SCI is located. People burst crackers till late midnight.
