Sikh organisations have again started their protests against the forthcoming release of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s film, MSG: Messenger of God, and have threatened to again move the High Court, which had refused to stay the release, to reconsider its decision.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Bhagwant Mann triggered a controversy by supporting controversial godman and Dera Sauda Sirsa chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim's movie "Messenger of God" (MSG).
Various Sikh youth organisations in Jammu and Kashmir reportedly called for a ban on screening of the controversial film 'Messenger of God' in the state. The activists of the Sikh youth bodies of Jammu and Kashmir raised this demand on January 18, a day after the movie was banned by the Punjab government.
The Punjab and Haryana High Court today deferred hearing on a petition seeking a stay on the screening of the controversial movie Messenger of God (MSG) starring Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim till January 27.
