Khadur Sahib: Creating history in the field of science education, two students from Khadur Sahib based Nishan-e-Sikhi Institute of Science Studies (NESISS) running under the patronage of noted environmentalist Baba Sewa Singh Kar Sewa Wale, cleared IIT-JEE (Advanced) qualifying for Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
Students of Khadoor Sahib Nishan-E-Sikhi Institute of Science Studies running under patronage of Baba Sewa Singh Kar Sewa Wale have secured high ranks in result of state level PMET examination. A total of 16 students have cleared the examination.
Jagdeep Kaur, trainee at Nishan-e-Sikhi Institute of Career and Courses running under the patronage of Baba Sewa Singh Kar Sewa Khadur Sahib Wale, has been selected as Police Sub-Inspector by securing top position in state-level recruitment examination conducted by Punjab Police. Not only this, Jagdeep Kaur has also broken previous record of top score i.e. 75 percent and got 79 percent marks.
A lifetime achiever and well known community activist Dr. Raghbir Singh Bains has been honored with the ‘Prime Minister’s Voluntary Award’ in recognition of his tremendous accomplishments through long years of selfless service to the society in Canada and beyond its global borders. Dr. Bains is first Indian born Canadian to get this prestigious award.
