Jalandhar, Punjab (November 1, 2013): Losing all faith in the political as well as justice system of the India, the Dal Khalsa and Akali Dal Panch Pardhani (ADPP) have demanded a UN probe into the killings of Sikhs in November 1984 in various parts of India, on the pattern of the UN probe done in the case of the killing of former Pakistani President Ms. Benazir Bhutto.
Amritsar, Punjab (October 31, 2013): The SGPC along with Dal Khalsa and Akali Dal Panch Pardani today observed the martyrdom day of Bhai Beant Singh, who assassinated late Indira Gandhi the then Prime Minister of India 29 years ago on this day.

The “Freedom and Justice March” is to be held on November 01 in the Jalandhar city by various Sikh Organizations.
Amritsar, Punjab (October 29, 2013): Sikh nation will be observing the martyrdom day of Shaheed Beant Singh on October 31, 2013 at Akal Takht Sahib in Amritsar. As an annual practise the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC) has began Akhand Paath of Guru Granth Sahib Ji near Akal Takht Sahib in the memory of Bhai Beant Singh, which will conclude on October 31.
Chandigarh (October 28, 2013): According to information available with the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN), Sikh political leader Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu’s bail petition was allowed by Punjab and Haryana High Court after extensive arguments on October 28, 2013. Bhai Daljit Singh was booked by the Punjab police under notorious law called “Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act” for political reasons.

Chandigarh/ Punjab (July 11, 2013): According to information available with the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN), Punjab and Haryana High Court today bail to Akali Dal Panch Pardhani (ADPP) leader Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu in a case under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act. This case was registered against Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu in September 2012 by Ludhiana police.
