Baba Fauja Singh, a 101-year-old Sikh, who is regarded as the world's oldest marathon runner will quit after one final run at next month's Hong Kong race, media reports said.
Bathinda/Ludhaina, Punjab (January 24, 2013): According to a news report by Hindustan Times (HT) Baba Fauja Singh, world’s oldest marathon runner at 102, has given the state a tip to maintain stamina in the long race against drug abuse.

Baba Bakala, Punjab (July 30, 2012): A tragic rail-shcool bus accident near Baba Bakala has claimed five students. As per reports a speeding mini local train rammed into their school bus at an unmanned railway crossing at Kot Mehtab Singh village near here this morning.
