Sikh Federation of Australia (SFA) flays irresponsible role of Indian media

Melbourne (January 27, 2010): The Sikh Federation of Australia has written to Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh to take urgent action against irresponsible Indian media who are creating sensation on the issue of attacks on Indian students in Australia.

Melbourne (November 07, 2009) Melbourne’s Main Tourist and Public spot “Federation Square” was packed full with Sikhs when they gathered to pay homage to the Victims and Martyrs of the 1984 Sikh Genocide on November 01, 2009.

Consul General of India approached to seek justice for Sewak Singh.

A high level delegation of Sikh Federation Austraila approached Ms. Anita Nayar, Consul General of India in Australia and raised the issue of ‘enforced disappearance’ of Sewak Singh, a Ph. D. student of Punjabi University Patiala, which lasted for six long days.
