The discussion also covered the ongoing case of Indian national Nikhil Gupta, who was allegedly tasked by RAW officer Vikash Yadav to target Sikh leaders in New York and California but was intercepted and arrested by U.S. authorities.
The Government of India has decided to allow Sikh jathas to visit Nankana Sahib and other historic Gurdwaras in Pakistan on the occasion of the Parkash Gurpurab of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, scheduled from November 4 to 13, 2025, after having imposed a ban on such travel last month.
Sikh devotees will not be allowed to travel to Pakistan this November to mark the Parkash Gurpurab of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, as the Government of India has denied permission citing prevailing tensions and security concerns between the two countries.
While ties between India and Pakistan remain severed at various levels, the Global Sikh Council (GSC) has strongly urged the reopening of the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor, which has remained closed since May 7 following the air clashes between India and Pakistan.
Paramjit Singh Mand, acting president of Dal Khalsa, delivered a speech at Gurdwara Sahib in Village Jhunir (District Mansa) on July 9, 2025. In his address, he shared his thoughts on the Sikhs and the Sikh Raj.
