Australian Sikh Association and the Sikh sangat of Sydney has recently inaugurated a Sikh Museum in Gurdwara Sahib Glenwood. This museum hosts sections on Sikh history and heritage and presents it through artwork in a unique manner.
A special screening of the documentary Battle of Amritsar will be held on Saturday, 14th June 2025 at 7:30 PM at Gurdwara Sahib Glenwood, Sydney. The event is being organised by the Australian Sikh Association in collaboration with the Sikh Federation of Australia, Khalistan Centre, and Wootz Films.
Speaking during a diwan at Glenwood Gurdwara Sahib in Sydney (Australia) Sikh political analyst and author Bhai Ajmer Singh shared his views on topic "Lessons of Ghallughara June 1984 for Sikhs". This speech was delivered on 23 June 2019.
The Sangat (congregation) of the Gurdwara Sahib Glenwood and the Australian Sikh Association Ltd. (ASA), which serves the largest Sikh congregation in Australia, welcomed Gladys Berejiklian MP, the New South Wales Premier, to the Gurdwara Sahib during his visit on October 9.
Sikh Sangat of Australia organised a “Shaheedi Samagam” last week to mark the 31st anniversary of ‘Ghallughara June 1984’ at Gurudwara Sahib of Glenwood (Parkley) in Western Sydney. The samgam was organised by the Gurdwara Sahib in association of the Sikh Federation of Australia and Australian Sikh Association.
Film-maker Harinder Sikka’s claims regarding worldwide success of controversial movie Nanak Shah Fakir are now proved to be fake. Reports from across the globe suggest that the movie has been rejected and opposed by the global Sikh community, including the Sikh diaspora sections.
