Amritsar (June 30, 2012): Lashing out at veteran commentator Kuldip Nayar for leveling wild allegations against the Sikh institutions and leadership, the Dal Khalsa termed it nothing but a bundle of insinuations and innuendo resting on the biased, bigotry thinking of the Punjabi lobby in Delhi.
Srinagar, Kashmir (June 30, 2012): As per news reports a Srinagar court has allowed General Court Martial proceedings to be held against the five army officers facing charges in the killing of five Kashmiris in south Kashmir’s Pathribal area in 2000. It is notable that five innocent Kashmiris were killed by Indian Army as cover-up for Chittisinghpura Massacre in which 36 Sikhs were massacred on the day of visit of then US President Mr. Clinton to India on 20 March 2000.
Chandigarh/New Delhi (June 29, 2012): A press released sent on behalf of Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad, President of AISSF (Peer Mohammad) claims that encouraged by the recent stand taken by Government of India seeking clemency for Sarabjit Singh who is on “Death Row” in Pakistan, All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) and “Sikhs For Justice” (SFJ) announced to renew its efforts for commutation of death sentence of Professor Devenderpal Singh Bhullar and other Sikhs who are on death row in India. Ever since Government of India recommended execution of Professor Bhullar, AISSF and SFJ has been canvassing for the commutation of his sentence based on humanitarian grounds as Prof. Bhullar has been in solitary confinement for seventeen years and is admitted in the hospital.

Amritsar (June 27, 2012): Dal Khalsa today fired a salvo against Congress Pardesh President Captain Amrinder Singh for favouring the memorial of police cops and certain infamous Congressmen who died during the heydays of militancy in Punjab.
Mr. Kuldip Nayar often described as a veteran journalist, recently wrote a highly misleading article in The Tribune, It was used by the opposition in the Punjab Legislative Assembly to articulate the point of view of the permanent cultural majority. The article that follows is in response to it. Immediately reproduced below it in italics, is the original article written by Kuldip Nayar. It will give the reader an idea of the lies being spread even now 28 years after the event when all aspects of the infamous attack are well known.

Ludhiana (June 23,2012): World Sikh Organization (WSO) President S. Prem Singh has written to NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair in response to a story that was published in the Globe & Mail (on 22 June, 2012) which reported that Indian High Commissioner Mr. Gavai accused Mr. Mulcair of distorting the facts surrounding the attack on the Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple) Complex in Amritsar in 1984 along with dozens of other Gurdwaras across Punjab.

Chandigarh (June 22, 2012): The Survivors of Hondh Chillar demanded that Justice T.P Garg should visit the ruins of Hondh Chillar genocidal site. Justice TP Garg is heading the one man Commission set up the by State of Haryana on March 05, 2011 in response to the discovery of Mass Grave in village Hondh-Chillar, District Rewari wherein several dozen Sikhs were killed and their properties were burnt in November 1984.
It is with great sorrow that I extend my sympathies on the 28th anniversary of the invasion of the Darbar Sahib complex, also known as the Golden Temple, and dozens of Gurduaras in Punjab, India. The tragic events that unfolded over the course of those sweltering days in June, and the subsequent killings in November, have deeply hurt the Sikh community, both in India and abroad.
Gurdaspur, Punjab (June 21, 2012): A protest rally held by various Sikh organisations in Gurdaspur to demand the arrest of the killers of Bhai Jaspal Singh (18) of nearby Chorh Sidhwan village, who was killed in police firing during a bandh on March 29, passed off peacefully on Wednesday, (June 20, 2012).
Srinagar (June 20, 2012): Kashmiri Leader and the chairman of Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Shah Geelani yesterday (on 19 June, 2012) demanded that the Chittisinghpura massacre should be probed into by some international institution and those involved in it should be punished.
Amritsar (June 17, 2012): Dal Khalsa has written a protest letter to Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal alleging that the Gurdaspur administration backed by the BJP and "over-confident" police force was not allowing the law to take its own course in the case of Jaspal Singh, student of Beant College of Engineering who fell into the bullets of police in Gurdaspur town on 29th March.
Chandigarh (June 15, 2012): All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF - Peer Mohammad) and Sikh for Justice (SFJ) blamed Congress ruled State of Haryana for defying the Orders of Punjab and Haryana High Court extending the ambit of Justice T.P. Garg Commission to include additional areas. The April 27 order of the Acting Chief Justice MM Kumar and Justice Alok Singh directed the State of Haryana to enlarge the terms of reference of Justice T.P. Garg Commission so that the claims of the victims belonging to the areas of Patuadi or any other area of District Gurgaon are also considered by the said Commission.
New York (June 12, 2012): In a press statement received from “Sikhs for Justice” (SJF) a human rights organization, it is informed that SJF along with All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) has launched an international campaign “1984 - Yes, It’s Genocide” to collect “Million Signatures” in support of the Sikh “Genocide Petition” to be filed before the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (UNHCR) in November.
Since Baisakhi Day i.e. April 13, 2012, the newspapers headlines have triggered a major debate on the Anand Marriage Act. There had been a rigorous issuance of statements from all around on the subject but most of the utterances are without the proper knowledge of the law relating the crucial subject. It seems that majority of the statements are laced in political colour. As there is a saying `little knowledge is dangerous thing’, similarly without the proper knowledge of the law, big statements have been issued that 'with implementation of Anand Marriage Act', `Sikhs has won a major victory’.
