Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has declared that he would take up the so-called ‘black list’ of Sikhs with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
New York, USA: For the third year in a row, the Sikh Coalition successfully kicked off another year-long Junior Sikh Coalition (JSC) program in New York City. After completing a rigorous application process, 17 youth from Connecticut, New Jersey and New York joined the group, bringing the total to 31 youth members.
Bhopal, India: A man named Anees Khan was beaten up by Bhopal police personnel on Saturday (Oct. 04) inside Bhopal court complex. Anees Khan is an under-trial persons who is facing charges under the Arms Act.

Raising this demand AAP state convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur maintained that Sukhbir Badal had failed to control the state police.

Nagpur/Maharashtra (Oct. 03): As per media reports tensions prevailed in Nagpur after a mob besieged Sikh Gurdwara in Panchsheel Nagar of Nagpur in Maharashtra. As per a news reported by The Tribune Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar (Mann) Jaswant Singh Mann said that a Sikh Gurdwara Sahib was besieged at Panchsheel Nagar (Nagpur) in Maharashtra. He said the Gurdwara was surrounded after two groups clashed over a trivial issue. He said the authorities had imposed a curfew in the area.
Paris, France (Oct. 05): A French NGO has announced to hold a function in Paris to make French people, especially the younger generation, aware about the role and sacrifices made by turbaned Sikh soldiers in France's freedom struggle.
