The rift in Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has once again come out in the open. After senior party member Admiral Ramdas's explosive letter, AAP co-founder and senior lawyer Prashant Bhushan has shot off a letter to the National Executive of the party expressing his anguish over the growing divide and trust deficit in the party.
Media reports say that there is serious rift with in the Aam Aadmi Party. Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party will meet on Wednesday for a decision that could presage the first big split in the party.
Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee has announced a contribution of $10,000 towards an awareness campaign to educate Americans about Sikhism and Sikh Identity. DSGMC president Manjit Singh GK and General Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa appeared with Dr. Rajwant Singh, Chairman of the Sikh Council on Religion and Education (SCORE) and Senior Advisor to the Washington based National Sikh Campaign, in New Delhi in a press meet and endorsed an American Sikh plan to reach out to millions of fellow Americans.
The court of Gaurav Rao, ACMM, Patiala House, New Delhi, today framed charges against Congress leader and Sikh genocide 1984 accused Jagdish Tytler under section 499/500 Indian Penal Code (IPC) for the defamatory statements made by him against senior lawyer and Aam Aadmi Party leader Advocate Harvinder Singh Phoolka during the LIVE telecast of a program titled “Khabro-ki-khabar” and “X-Factor” on NDTV channel.
Punjab police has come down heavily against the Sikh activists supporting hunger strike of Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa. The police has reportedly arrested a number of Sikh activists while others have gone underground to avoid arrests. Meanwhile Sikh organizations have postponed March 3 protest at Jantar Mantar to March 9.
