The design of the Guru’s word is as infinite and inscrutable and as simple as Creation. As the different prophets saw Creation and wondered and uttered Truth as they felt, so is the Guru’s word. All the past prophets and poets of the future come singing. Mere word- weavers, mere music-makers are of no consequence here: they are still paddling in very shallow waters on the shore.
Indian and Chinese troops were involved in a heated exchange in eastern Ladakh near the Pangong Tso Lake on Wednesday (Sept. 11), according to media report.
The Government of India (GoI) reportedly maintained today that it has removed names of 312 Sikhs from the so-called blacklist of Sikhs maintained at various levels the Indian state. Indian media reports says that only two persons figure in the list now; the names, however, were not disclosed.
New Jersey Senate President Steve Sweeney presented a resolution to the East Coast Sikh Coordination Committee and members of the greater Sikh community today designating November 12, 2019, as World Equality Day in recognition of Guru Nanak ji’s 550th Parkash Gurpurab.
The International Sikh Convention organised by the Sikh Federation (UK) will commence tomorrow at Guru Nanak Gurdwara, Smethwick in the West Midlands and is expected to attract over 15,000 Sikhs over the three-day event.
