The party operates from a two-story residential building at 41, Hanuman Road in central Delhi. The property is owned by an NRI who rented out to Arvind Kejirwal’s party for a token rent of Rs 1 per month.
The AAP’s headquarters is located in Kaushambi in Ghaziabad.
Party leaders have been quoted as saying that they had identified a suitable building in Rajendra Nagar but the deal did not work out. Also, the party is keen to have an office in central Delhi itself.
And, the Kaushambi office would be merged with the Delhi office, they added.
Reports also claimed that AAP has written to union urban development ministry to allot it a plot as it is a state party. However, the party is yet to hear from the Centre.
