An approximately century-old historic building, known as Bunga Bahadar Babbran, has recently been discovered in Sri Anandpur Sahib. This structure, with its significant cultural and historical value, has sparked a debate over its future. The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has proposed demolishing the building to make way for new construction projects. However, several Sikh organizations are advocating for the preservation of the structure, emphasizing its importance as a symbol of heritage and a part of the region’s rich history.
