Amritsar (June 13, 2014): According to media reports Amritsar police have claimed to have arrested a former Sikh fighter of Bhindranwale Tigers Force, who remained active during armed Sikh struggle. The city police claimed that he was arrested on Thursday (June 12) from city Bus Stand.
According to a news report of Zee News, Special Operation Cell of Anti-Narcotic of Punjab Police arrested Hardyal Singh.
Police claimed that he was a close associate of BTF Chief Baba Gurbachan Singh Manochahal.
The Zee News quoted police AIG Ashwani Kumar that Hardyal Singh was convicted in triple murder case by the court for life imprisonment in 1997 and 2005 but jumped bail when he was on parole granted by the High Court.
