How UN and Indian Human Rights Regimes Ignored Violations in Punjab: What Sikhs Should Do Now?

Marking 78th International Human Rights Day, the Dal Khalsa held a Panthik Conference at Gurdwara Sahib, B-Block, Randhir Avenue, Amritsar (Punjab). This conference was attended by Sikh activists, representatives of Sikh political parties, pro-freedom Sikh groups, Sikh journalists and editors, human rights groups, including former Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court- Justice (Retd.) Ranjit Singh (chairman of the Punjab Human Rights Organization). Various prominent speakers shared their views and thoughts during this conference. This is full video recording of speech of Parmjeet Singh Gazi (Editor, Sikh Siyasat News). In this speech he discussed the Sikh experience of their interaction with the United Nations and the Indian state, the components of the Indian state, and what Sikhs need to do in order to get the human rights issued properly addressed at the UN level and within the Indian system.
