Amritsar: The World Sikh News (WSN) reported on 4 December 2023 that International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF) leader Bhai Lakhbir Singh Rode passed away in Pakistan of heart failure on 2 November, where he was cremated as per Sikh tradition. He has been living there for the last many decades, WSN notes.

Dal Khalsa leader Kan­war Pal Singh, who knew Lakhbir Singh Rode in­ti­mately has ex­pressed grief at his pass­ing away. “His role and con­tri­bu­tion to­wards the goal of Sikh in­de­pen­dence will be ever re­mem­bered. Sadly, the stress of liv­ing in iso­la­tion has taken its toll”, Kanwarpal Singh reportedly told WSN.
