“Parminder Dhindsa had offered to resign to Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal after I lost in Sangrur parliamentary elections. It was just an offer accepting the mandate of the people of Sangrur but he never submitted the resignation”, said Senior Dhindsa to Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) over phone.
Meanwhile, a spokesman of Punjab chief minister’s office also released a statement in the row that FM never resigned from his post.
The resignation row of Punjab Finance Minister and son of Member Rajaya Sabha Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa rocked Punjab politics on Sunday after a news portal Yes Punjab reported the news of resignation.
