Sukhpal Singh Khaira Led Punjabi Ekta Party (PEP) Appoints Official Spokespersons

Chandigarh: Sukhpal Singh Khaira led Punjabi Ekta Party (PEP) has appointed seven official spokespersons. PEP says that the these spokespersons will be authorised to represent the party for newspaper, television and other media platforms.

These include former professor of history at Panjab University Dr. Gurdarshan Singh Dhillon, Advocate Gurpreet Singh Fazilka, Advocate Buta Singh Bairagi, Sukhdeep Singh Apra, Dr. Surinder Kanwal, Prof. Gurnoor Singh Komal and Miss. Simranjeet Kaur (Advocate).
It is notable that Bholath MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira has floated his own party after parting ways with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). There are reports that the PEP may field Dr. Gurdarshan Singh to contest Lok Sabha election against comedian turned politician Bhagwant Mann from Sangrur. Bhagwant Mann is AAP’s sitting MP for Lok Sabha from Sangrur constituency.
