Chandigarh (July 27, 2012): A day after Justice Garg’s visit to village Hondh-Chillar, All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) and Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) demanded a three member inquiry commission comprising of High Court Justices to thoroughly investigate the November 1984 genocidal attacks on the Sikh population throughout the Sate of Haryana.

Hissar (July 02, 2012): A delegation of survivors of Hondh, Pataudi and Gurgaon headed by Karnail Singh Peermohammad President of All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF - Peermohammad), appeared before Garg Commission to present the evidence related to November 1984 genocidal attacks on Sikh population. Survivors, AISSF and Sikh for Justice (SFJ) demanded that Justice Garg should visit the ruins of genocidal sites at Hondh, Pataudi and Gurgaon. The delegation also demanded that Commission should take action on FIR No. 91 dated November 03, 1984 and issue arrest warrant of persons named in that FIR.

Chandigarh/New Delhi (June 29, 2012): A press released sent on behalf of Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad, President of AISSF (Peer Mohammad) claims that encouraged by the recent stand taken by Government of India seeking clemency for Sarabjit Singh who is on “Death Row” in Pakistan, All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) and “Sikhs For Justice” (SFJ) announced to renew its efforts for commutation of death sentence of Professor Devenderpal Singh Bhullar and other Sikhs who are on death row in India. Ever since Government of India recommended execution of Professor Bhullar, AISSF and SFJ has been canvassing for the commutation of his sentence based on humanitarian grounds as Prof. Bhullar has been in solitary confinement for seventeen years and is admitted in the hospital.

State of Haryana Defying Orders of Court on Hondh-Chillar

Chandigarh (June 15, 2012): All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF - Peer Mohammad) and Sikh for Justice (SFJ) blamed Congress ruled State of Haryana for defying the Orders of Punjab and Haryana High Court extending the ambit of Justice T.P. Garg Commission to include additional areas. The April 27 order of the Acting Chief Justice MM Kumar and Justice Alok Singh directed the State of Haryana to enlarge the terms of reference of Justice T.P. Garg Commission so that the claims of the victims belonging to the areas of Patuadi or any other area of District Gurgaon are also considered by the said Commission.

New York (June 06, 20102): As per information provided by Sikhs for Justice after unsuccessful attempt to challenge the jurisdiction of the US Federal Court to hear the Sikh Genocide case, Indian National Congress, the ruling party of India, now seeks dismissal of the claims filed by victims of November 1984 based on the lapse of 25 years. The May 29 motion by the Congress Party states that killing of Sikhs took in November 1984 and the victims filed the case in March 2011 when the statute of limitation had already expired.

New York/New Delhi (April 28, 2012): Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), an international human rights organization, striving to disseminate true and correct information, statistics, figures and data regarding the November 1984 Genocide of Sikhs called upon United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to appoint a “UN Special Commission” to investigate the systematic and organized killing of Sikhs during November 1984 to reveal the true nature, scope and scale of massacre. A memorandum was submitted to UN Secretary General on behalf of widows, victims, and survivors of November 1984 Sikh Genocide urging him to raise the issue of “denial of justice” to the thousands of innocent Sikhs who were ruthlessly murdered in the streets of Delhi and other cities of India in November 1984.

Chandigarh, Punjab (April 26, 2012): All India Sikh Students Federation (Peer Mohammad) and Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) demanded that CBI should file additional criminal case against Congress leader Sajjan Kumar for his role in the killings of Gurcharan Singh Rishi, Santokh Singh and Sohan Singh Kohli. On November 01, 1984, Rishi a resident of , Gulab Bagh Colony, village Nawada Nazafgarh Road, New Delhi was thrown into a burning truck by the mob incited by Congress Leaders Sajjan Kumar. Rishi remained bed ridden for 25 years due to burn injuries before succumbing in February 2009. During the attack on Rishi’s home, his uncle Santokh Singh, who was visiting from Bulandshehar, UP was also killed.

New York, USA (April 18, 2012): On April 18, US Federal Judge Robert Sweet heard on submission a motion filed by November 1984 Victims’ requesting the court to vacate its earlier order dismissing the case against Kamal Nath and re-instating the same. The victims motion to reinstate the case argues that survivors of November 1984 Sikh Genocide, as a matter of law, has a right to conduct jurisdictional discovery to uncover Kamal Nath’s contacts with New York to establish court’s personal jurisdiction in this class action lawsuit filed under Alien Tort Claims Act (ATCA) and Torture Victim Protection Act (TVPA). The case against Minister Nath was filed by "Sikhs For Justice" (SFJ) a US based human rights group for his role in leading an armed mob which attacked Gurdawara Rakab Ganj Delhi on November 01, 1984 in which many Sikhs were burnt alive.

New York, US: (April 11, 2012): Representing Congress (I) a.k.a (INC) in Sikh Genocide Case, lawyers from “Jones Day”, an international law firm specializing in defending claims arising from human rights violations, has opposed the entry of default judgment against Congress (I). Amritsar, Punjab (March 01, 2012): Challenging the Bachchan’s claim of innocence for his role in 1984 Sikh Genocide, All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF-Peer Mohammad) dared Bachchan to present his claim of innocence before the Sikh community on the National TV. AISSF President Karnail Singh Peermohammad stated that the Federation will present Bibi Jagdish Kaur and Babu Singh Dukhia who saw Bachchan on Doordarshan raising slogan “khoon ka badla khoon” after the death of Ms. Indira Gandhi. The witnesses’ testimony on how Bachchan instigated the killing of Sikhs in November 1984 will refute Bachchan’s claims of innocence and substantiates claims of victims that Bachchan raised the slogan “Blood for Blood”, added Peermohammad.

New York, USA (March 3, 2012): As per information available with "Sikh Siyasat" Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), a US based human rights advocacy group, has approached Secretary of State Hillary Clinton demanding the exclusion of Sonia Gandhi from the United States. Sonia Gandhi, who is currently visiting the U.S., is President of the Indian National Congress party, the ruling political party of India that organized and carried out the genocide of over 30,000 Sikh men, women and children in November 1984, many of whom were burnt alive. The Indian National Congress party had organized the genocide to avenge the assassination of the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, the Party’s leader, who was murdered by her two bodyguards who happened to be Sikhs.

New Dehli (February 16, 2012): Victims of Sikh Genocide of November 1984 held a justice rally outside Karkardooma Court where Additional Sessions Judge is hearing the 1984 victims’ appeal against the Clean Chit given to Jagdish Tytler by the CBI. Hundreds of protestors joined the Justice Rally to demand the prosecution of Congress (I) leader Tytler against the possible commutation of Kishori Lal’s sentence who butchered Sikhs during November 1984. As per information available with "Sikh Siyasat" Advocate Kamna Vohra lawyer for the victims of November 1984 submitted a sworn affidavit of US based attorney Gurpatwant S. Pannun who represented witnesses late Giani Surinder Singh, Jasbir Singh and Resham Singh during CBI’s visit to USA in December 2008.
