As preparations for the 2027 Punjab Assembly Elections begin, Akali Dal Waris Punjab De has fielded Satwant Singh from Bassi Pathana. With Bibi Amrit Kaur already contesting as an independent, the constituency is set for a high-stakes face-off between the families of two Sikh martyrs.
