British Sikh activists

According to a report published in the Punjabi daily Ajit, British police have advised Khalistan activist Parmjit Singh Pamma and another Sikh activist living in the United Kingdom to enhance their personal security amid rising concerns following recent high-profile incidents involving Sikh activists abroad.

A new report released by the Joint Committee on Human Rights (JCHR) of the UK Parliament on July 30, 2025, has warned of a rise in transnational repression (TNR) on British soil, with India named among 12 countries allegedly engaged in such practices.
It is now clear from the intelligence, law enforcement agencies and governments in the US and Canada (and Pakistan) that the current Indian government led by right wing extremists does not respect the rule of law and the sovereignty of other nations.
