Hondh-Chillar And Gurgaon-Pataudi Massacres: Delegation Meets Punjab LoP, Seeks Support in Fight Against Impunity for 1984 Sikh Genocide

A delegation, led by Manwinder Singh Giaspura, who had discovered in 2011 a mass grave of Sikhs massacred during November 1984 Sikh genocide at village Hondh Chillar in Haryana, met leader of opposition in Punjab Assembly here on Friday.

Khalistani T-shirts case Discharged by Ludhiana Sessions Court

A trial court in Ludhiana today discharged a case, known as the Khalistan T-Shirts case. The case was registered on the basis of a police complaint filed by a local Shiv Sena leader Baljit Jassia back in 2011 in which he had objected the sale of T shirts which supported a snap of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale on the front and further captioned as "When the Indian army sets foot in the Harimander Sahib complex the foundation stone of Khalistan will be laid".

Ludhiana Police fail to file charge in Sant Bhindranwale T-shirts case

Ludhiana police reportedly fail to present charge-sheet against Er. Mawinder Singh Giaspura in a case related to “recover” of T-shirts with Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale’s photo imprints. Police had booked Giaspura in this case on the complaint of a Shiv Sena leader Bajeet Jassian.

Sikh Genocide survivor from Hondh Chillar identifies victim Inderjit Singh before Garg Commission

Hisar, Haryana (February 01, 2014): It is learnt that Justice TP Garg, inquiring into the 1984 Sikh carnage in Hondh Chillar village of Rewari (Haryana), has completed first phase of investigation.

SGPC to raise Sikh genocide 1984 memorial at the site of Hondh-Chillar Massacre, Makkar assures survivors

Amritsar, Punjab (August 25, 2013): As per some media reports the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC) has decided to raise a memorial for the victims of the Hondh-Chillar Massacre at the Sikh genocide site at village Hondh Chillar, near Rewari in Haryana.

Pataudi, Haryana (July 14 2013): It is learnt that nearly 29 years after the Pataudi Sikh Massacre of November 1984, the victims-cum-survivors Jeevni Bai, Shanti Devi and Amrit Kaur filed their affidavits before the Garg Commission on July 13, 2013.

Rewari, Haryana (July 06, 2013): It is learnt that the Justice T.P. Garg commission, that is 'investigating' the Hondh-Chillar Massacre of November 1984, held a hearing on July 05, 2013 that was attended by members of the Hondh Chillar Co-ordination Committee, besides the victims of the Hondh-Chillar Massacre.
