SGPC chief Avtar Singh Makkar, this evening, unilaterally announced to reject the Gurmata passed by Akal Takhat Sahib Panj Piyare directing “executive committee” of the SGPC to relieve Takhat Jathedars from all their services.
Panj Pyaras of Akal Takhat today adopted a Gurmata and issued directions to the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandk Committee (SGPC) to terminate services Giani Gurbachan Singh and other persons holding posts of Takhat Jathedars, who were involved in announcing pardon to Dera Sauda Sirsa (DSS) chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim.
