The World Sikh Organization of Canada (WSO) is warning against attempts by the Canadian government to conceal evidence regarding India’s alleged role in the assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, calling the move a denial of justice driven by diplomatic interests.
Following an application by Canada's Attorney General to withhold relevant evidence citing national security, the Sikh Federation Canada is demanding full public transparency regarding foreign involvement in the June 2023 assassination of Bhai Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
US Sikh organizations have commended the Department of Justice for thwarting an assassination plot on American soil, while urgently requesting that federal authorities pursue full accountability for Indian government official Vikash Yadav and all co-conspirators.
