Several Sikh bodies, intellectuals and former SGPC officials have submitted a memorandum to the Government of India demanding formal talks on unresolved Sikh concerns. The memorandum raises issues related to Kirpan rights, Sikh identity, SGPC elections, Sikh prisoners, Kartarpur Sahib Corridor, Punjabi language, NRI Sikh blacklists and 1984-related demands.
