Sirdar Bikkar Singh Hongkong has spent the past 27 years researching historical records related to the Punjabi language and its various scripts, including the development of its numerical system.

Bikkar Singh maintains that the concept of zero was invented in the Punjab region of the subcontinent. To support this claim, he cites several rare historical records he accessed during his research.
