Gurmeet Ram Rahim “Secretly” Granted Parole by Haryana BJP Govt.

Chandigarh: BJP led government in Haryana reportedly granted Gurmeet Ram Rahim a day’s parole on October 24. Gurmeet Ram Rahim is head of Dera Sauda Sirsa and is undergoing jail after he was convicted by a special CBI court for murder and rape.

The dera chief is presently imprisoned in Rohtak jail. As per reports he was granted parole to meet his ailing mother who is hospitalised in Gurgaon.
The dera chief was taken under heavy security from Sunaria jail to the Gurgaon hospital on October 24 and stayed with his mother till the evening.
Some media reports, such as a report in Times of India (ToI), have maintained that Gurmeet Ram Rahim was granted parole ‘secretly’.
