New Delhi/ Chandigarh: Historian Dr. Sangat Singh passed away yesterday in his Greater Kailash based residence. He was 86 years old.
He is survived by his wife Gurbachan Kaur, two daughters Harbinder Kaur, Upinder Kaur and son Maninder Singh.
Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhdandak Committee (SGPC) chief Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar has expressed condolence over demise of Dr. Sangat Singh.
In a written statement, Kirpal Singh Badungar said that even though Dr. Sangat Singh held high offices in the Indian government but he was a good person who held Panthic thoughts.
