New Short Movie ‘Apna Punjab?’ Depicting Current Socio-Cultural Scenario In Punjab

Chandigarh: Panj Teer Records here today released their new short movie ‘Apna Punjab?’ for the audience on their social media platform. The movie basically depicts the current socio-cultural problems and challenge faced by the majority of the youths in Punjab. Earlier the movie was officially nominated for screening at the Sikh International Short Film Festival Australia (SISFFA) 2017.
“Apna Punjab?” further sheds light that how the politicians used the singers/songs/music to promote the use of intoxicants and drugs in Punjab. Whereas today’s politicians are responsible for the drugs menace in Punjab, at the same time singers/artists who glorified and presented these intoxicants as a part of Punjab’s culture are also equally responsible for ruining the youth of Punjab.
