Sikh24.com, an online news portal has quoted an unnamed SGPC member, who reporedly said the meeting between the RSS chief and the Beas Dera head should be deliberated upon seriously and the Akali leadership should find out the reasons behind the meeting. The members have suggested that the issue should be discussed at the meeting of party Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and SGPC members of Mansa region scheduled to be held on June 2nd.

“All conscious segments of Punjab are speculating over this significant negotiation with keen interest. Various intelligence agencies have also been busy collecting information about the meeting” Sikh24.com news reads further.

RSS is prime hindutva body with extremist tendencies. The rise of authoritarian extremism in India has become evident from the results of recently held Lok Sabha elections in which Hindu supremacist party Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), backed by RSS, secured control over power set-up in India.
