Sangrur: A Gurmat Samagam was held today at Gurdwara Sahib, Village Rajomajra, to commemorate the Sikh Shaheeds who sacrificed their lives during the Sikh struggle of the 1980s-90s. The occasion saw the release of a new book Shaheednama (Rajomajra De Shaheed), authored by Bhai Malkeet Singh Bhawanigarh, a dedicated Sikh youth author and sewadar of Sikh Jatha Malwa.

The event was attended by the family members of the Sikh martyrs and prominent Panthic personalities, including Panth Sewak Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu, who jointly released the book. This marks Bhai Malk eet Singh’s third publication, and it is the second volume under the Shaheednama series. His earlier book, Shaheednama (Aloarkh De Shaheed), was also published by Neesaan Parkashan.

The book focuses on the sacrifices made by the Sikhs of Rajomajra village, who laid down their lives during the period of the 1980s-90s Sikh struggle. It offers a brief biography of each of the martyrs, ensuring that their stories are preserved for future generations.

The launch event was an important and reflective occasion, drawing attention to the sacrifice of Sikh martyrs and the importance of remembering their legacy in the ongoing journey of the Khalsa Panth.
