Another Sacrilege incident in Maleke (Moga): Political and police leadership has failed the Sikhs

November 4, 2015 | By

Amritsar: Expressing their deep concern over the fresh incident of sacrilege at village Maleke in Moga district, the Dal Khalsa and SAD Panch Pardani has observed that there looks much larger and deep rooted design behind these unfortunate incidents.

Dal Khalsa spokesperson Kanwar Pal Singh and Panch Pardani leader Harpal Singh Cheema said state’s political and police leadership has failed the Sikhs in particular and people of Punjab in general. Had the government and its administration be efficient and competent, the re-occurence of sacrilege would have been averted.

Those who had committed the sacrilege again in Malwa region has an ulterior motive to keep the Punjab on boil, and give further mental trauma to Sikhs.

Despite public outcry, upsurge and series of protests, another incidents of someone tearing off pages from (small) bir of Guru Granth Sahib leaves no one in doubt that state government, intelligence and investigative agency’s have been groping in dark till date and the real culprit was far from their reach.
