Bhai Dhian Singh Mand Ends Bargari Based Morcha; Calls on People to Prepare for “Next Phase”

Bargari/Kotkapura: Bhai Dhian Singh Mand who was leading a sit-in protest at Bargari today announced to end the agitation. He said that he envisioned such achievements for the Sikhs that Sikh sangat can’t even imagine. He said that people were asking him to make a shift in Morcha strategy and take the struggle to next phase. It was the time to take the struggle to next phase that would be announced in coming days, said he while adding that he will stay in Bargari for tomorrow and will honour all those who have contributed in the Morcha. On Tuesday, he added, they will go to Darbar Sahib Amritsar to thank the Akal Purakh for the “successes” the morcha witnessed and then details of next phase of struggle will be announced.
Bhai Dhian Singh Mand said that he was impressed by the move of various Sikh political groups to commit their dedication to Akal Takht Sahib during November 25 gathering and said that he want to see Sikhs seated in position of political power (raaj).
It is notable that after the Punjab government cleared release of Sikh political prisoner Bhai Dilbagh Singh Bagha, it was suspected that the morcha organisers shall agree to end their agitation.
