After Rahul Gandhi, Sukhbir Badal visits Radha Soami Dera

Beas/ Amritsar: As the elections are nearing in Punjab, the politicians have started to lineup at Deras. A day after Congress party’s vice-president Rahul Gandhi visited to the Dera Radha Soami Beas, Punjab Deputy CM and ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) president Sukhbir Badal (on March 20) reached the dera Radha Swami along with his wife and Bathinda MP Harsimrat Badal. Sukhbir spent over two hours at the Dera Radha Soami’s Beas based headquarter.
Sources said that Sukhbir Badal’s brother-in-law Bikram Majithia and his wife Ganeive Grewal, who is a relative of dera Radha Soami head Gurinder Singh Dhillon also accompanied Sukhbir and Harsimrat Badal.

It may be recalled that during his visit to Amritsar on March 18, Rahul Gandhi had arrived at the Dera in the evening. He had left the next day in the afternoon. Rahul was reported to had held a closed-door meeting with the dera head.
