Sadda Haq Punjabi movie bags 4 awards at PTC Film Awards

Chandigarh/ Punjab (March 06, 2014): It is learnt that much debated Punjabi Movie of 2013 – “Sadda Haq” bagged four trophies during PTC Film Awards.

One of the Sadda Haq producers, Kuljinder Sidhu, who played the lead role in the movie, wrote on the wall of his Facebook Fans page on March 04: “Thanks a lot all of you. Sadda Haq rocks again … at PTC Film awards. We have got 4 awards – best actor (critics), best screen play, most popular film and best actress (critics)”.

“This was never possible without the support of my Wife Nidhi Sidhu , Dinesh Sood Mandeep Benipal Jazzy B, Apwinder Sidhu & Aarzoo Sidhu, Samuel John, Amit Bansal, Sukh Hundal,Parveen kumar & most important my mother Kasmir kaur, entire cast & crew of Sadda Haq” he added.

Kuljinder Sidhu, who is currently working on a movie titled “Yodha”, extended special thanks to Amandeep Singh Bali Deol Kulwinder Chhina Gurmeet Maan Dr Jagwinder Singh Virk, Akali Gurtej singh, Munish Sahni, Amardeep Singh Gill, Sunny, Sandeep Kapoor, Balwinder Singh Kala, Gippy Grewal, Diljeet, Gurpreet Gughi, Rana Ranbir, Darshan dervash, Parry Dulai, entire OXL Group team, Gurwinder Singh & Pal from New Zealand, Rahul Sood, Harpreet Gill UK, all friends and family members and above all the Fans of Sadda Haq.

The movie was based on events related to post-1984 to mid-1990s period in Punjab. The movie’s characters had strong resemblance with many real life characters including former Punjab CM Beant Singh and his assassins Bhai Dilawar Singh, Jargat Singh Hawara and Balwant Singh Rajoana.
