In the memory of late Bhai Gajinder Singh, the founding leader of Dal Khalsa, the Dal Khalsa has decided to organize a seminar on 29th September at Gurdaspur. The title of the seminar will be 'Martyr, resistance and the road to Freedom'.
In a solemn tribute to the late Bhai Gajinder Singh, an Antim Ardas samagam is scheduled to be held on 13 July 2024 at 8 am at Gurdwara Shaheed Baba Gurbakhsh Singh Ji, near Akal Takht Sahib in the Darbar Sahib complex, Amritsar.
Bhai Gajinder Singh, the exiled Sikh leader and founding president of the pro-Sikh freedom body Dal Khalsa, has passed away in Pakistan. He had been hospitalized a few days earlier, reportedly due to a heart ailment.
Punjab’s Pro-freedom group Dal Khalsa on Friday offered prayers at Sri Akal Takht Sahib for the well-being of all “exiled” Sikh activists, release of Sikh political prisoners, success of “Sikh freedom struggle” and seeking punishment for the killers of Hardeep Singh Nijhar, Paramjit Singh Panjwar and others killed “extra-judicially”.
Health condition of Dal Khalsa's founding member Bhai Gajinder Singh has reportedly deteriorated. In a Facebook post Bhai Gajinder Singh wrote few days back that he could not welcome the month of Sawan in a usual manner due to health complications.
