EXCLUSIVE: Why Sikhs Won’t Accept Nanak Shah Fakir Film, Explains Former Jathedar Giani Kewal Singh

Amritsar: The controversial film Nanak Shah Fakir is once against in focus as the producer Harinder Singh Sikka has announced to release it on April 13, 2018. The film was earlier released in 2015 but it was strongly opposed by the Sikh panth. Harinder Singh Sikka had withdrawn the film after outrage by the Sikhs globally.

This time the producer of the controversial film had claimed backing of Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhdandak Committee (SGPC). The SGPC had also announced to promote the film but after the move was strongly opposed by the Sikh panth, the SGPC withdrew its support from the movie and decalred that the film will not be released by SGPC on April 13.
