Vancouver, BC: A new coalition of local Panthic organizations has been formed in British Columbia (Canada), under the name Panthic Alliance BC, with the goal of fostering unity and addressing key issues within the Sikh community. The alliance is grounded in the principles of Gurmat and is committed to working towards the realization of a true Panthic agenda.
The formation of the Panthic Alliance BC marks an important step in creating a collective voice for the local Sangat. The alliance is comprised of various prominent Panthic organizations, including Akal Force, Babbar Akali Lehar, BC Akhand Kirtani Jatha Educational Society Chalda Vaheer Canada, North American Sikh Association, Panthic Media, The Undying Morcha, Toofan Singh Youth Federation, and Satkaar Sewa Network Society.
According to the press release issued by the coalition, the Panthic Alliance BC is focused on “true Panthic ekta”, which goes beyond mere unity. The organization’s leadership emphasizes that “true Panthic ekta can only be realized when it is firmly rooted in Sidhantak ekta (principled unity).” The alliance will work to address Panthic issues locally and globally, offering a platform for cooperation among its members.
“We are steadfast in our pursuit of Khalistan as an expression of Sikh sovereignty and freedom,” the statement reads, reinforcing the alliance’s commitment to supporting Sikh independence.
Additionally, the Panthic Alliance BC emphasizes “alignment with Gurmat”, ensuring that all decisions and actions of the organization are in line with the teachings and values of Sikhism.
As per the Panthik Alliance BC, the member organizations of the alliance will collaborate on various initiatives and projects aimed at advancing the Panthic cause.
